ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

The internal organization of the Directorate is arranged in accordance with the Rulebook on internal organization and systematization of workplaces in the Directorate for Railways I Number: 340-355/2021 of April 2, 2021, to which the Government gave its consent with Conclusion 05 Number: 110-3090/ 2021, dated April 8, 2021 and entered into force on February 20, 2021, which was adopted in accordance with the obligation to harmonize the internal organization of the Directorate with the provisions of the Law on Railways ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 41/2018), of the Law on Interoperability of the Railway System ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 41/2018) and the Law on Safety in Railway Traffic ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 41/2018).

Internal units and subunits, their scope and mutual relationships, management of internal units and subunits, powers and responsibilities of managers, way of cooperation with other authorities and organizations, number of civil servants and description of their jobs, number of executive positions by title and their job descriptions, as well as the required number of civil servants for each position and the conditions for employment at each position in the Directorate are determined by the Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of workplaces in the Directorate for Railways.

Within the Directorate, there are two internal units:

1) Department for Railway Safety and Interoperability, Cableways and Metro

2) Department for Railway Market Regulation, Licencing, Passenger Rights and General Affairs

Within the Department for Railway Safety and Interoperability, Cableways and Metro, there are three subunits:

- Section for Safety Management and Professional Training;

- Section for Regulations, Fixed Structural Subsystems, Railway and Metro Vehicles;

- Section for ECM and Rail Vehicle Maintenance Workshop Certifications and Cableways.

Within the Department for Railway Market Regulation, Licencing, Passenger Rights and General Affairs, there are two subunits:

- Section for Railway Market Regulation, Licencing and Passenger Rights;

- Section for Finance, Human Resources and General Affairs.

The director of the Directorate, i.e. authorized head of department, carries out cooperation with other authorities and organizations and independent adviser for legal affairs in the field of human resources and general affairs, Gordana Kocic, carries out tasks related to ensuring free access to information of public importance.
